KINGSTON, Jamaica —The St Elizabeth police are Friday morning searching for two female inmates who escaped custody while being transported to jail Thursday night.
Preliminary reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that about 10:00 pm, the two, charged with malicious destruction of property and wounding with intent, were being transported from the Black River Hospital in a police service vehicle when upon reaching a section of the Short Hill main road, the women jumped from the vehicle and made good their escape.
