KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police have placed sections of downtown Kingston on lockdown after criminals a short while ago opened gunfire in the vicinity of an armoured vehicle stationed in a section of the town.
Reports are that a team of police officers placed in strategic position in downtown Kingston were patrolling the area when criminals crept up on them and opened fire.
It is not immediately clear as to what caused the attack, but none of the police officers were injured.
Police have reportedly launched a search for the men.
