DJ/SELECTOR DADDY BLUE OF THE STEREO ONE SOUND SYSTEM, DIES AT 57!

Daddy Blue (Karl Walton) lost his battle with colon cancer early this morning, he was 57 years-old. The veteran DJ/Selector was an original member of the Grant’s Pen-based Stereo One Sound System, which was lead by Lt. Stitchie, Wolfman and Ricky Stereo.

Daddy Blue was born on December 25, 1958. In 1991, he scored his biggest hit with “Video” which peaked at the No.3 position of The New York/WNWK Top 20 Chart. His next chart entry was the 1992 combination with singer Cane Juice, “Let’s Chill” which reached No.9.

Funeral arrangements are being made for his interment.
