When the matter was called up on Tuesday, Simpson’s attorney Hensley Williams told the court he was yet to receive the case file and thee matter was adjourned.

On the resumption, the prosecution outlined the case leading to Simpson’s arrest.  Williams argued that at no time was a gun found in the vehicle or on his client.

He argued that a bag was presented and it was retrieved by Jamaica Defence Force divers.

The attorney said the vehicle encountered brake problems and Simpson was unable to stop.

The Presiding Magistrate indicated that she wanted to go to the location before considering bail.
