KINGSTON, Jamaica – The three teenagers charged with the murder of popular singer Luciano’s 19-year-old son, Menelik McClymont, were today denied bail when they appeared in the Half-Way-Tree Resident Magistrate’s Court.
The case has been set for April 21.
The accused: 18-year-old Jerome Coombs, 18-year-old Camanie Shaw, and Nashlyn Anderson, also 18, were arrested and charged after McClymont died as a result of stab wounds he received in February.
According to information from the Corporate Communications Unit, McClymont was stabbed several times on Saturday, February 27, around 2:30 pm in the vicinity of Parkington Plaza on Half-Way-Tree Road, St Andrew.
He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
