Woman charged for murder after setting her boyfriend on fire 

A 36-year-old woman, who was accused of setting her spouse on fire, following claims that he was  having an affair, has been charged with murder.

The woman Senita Blair of a Kingston 14 address was charged with the murder after her boyfriend Kenton Brown, a 42-year-old carpenter from St Andrew died at hospital days after he was admitted at the facility.

Reports from the Constabulary Communication Unit (CCU) are that on May 23, Blair threw a flammable substance on Brown and then set him ablaze while he was sleeping.

Brown who suffered severe burns was admitted in hospital. He succumbed to his injuries four days later.

Blair was arrested by Hunts Bay police. She has since been charged with murder.
